Default 26x26 Asso Strap...

After much agony and hand wringing I put a crowbar to my wallet and bought a 26x26 Asso strap for my 423. Ideally I would have liked a longer one, but this one is quite functional, even though it doesn't have the tail of the longer straps. I get very little tail anyway, and at my age.....

It's not as short as it looks, strange as that sounds. It shows on my wrist in the third hole, but I wore it today in the fourth hole, laying off the tacos for a day or so. So that's the fourth hole out of seven.....photos show third hole.

It's really a lot nicer than the photos show, and a lot better than the stock 26x24 strap, despite the fact that the buckle doesn't say Panerai. BFD.

That is a rather sharp looking strap you have there David, excellent choice. The metal feature is the perfect balance with the tone of the leather and stitching.

Is it the same tone on the inside of the strap?

Do they come in varying lengths?

Any markings or labeling on the inside of the straps?

Here are a couple of shots of the inside of the strap. The Asso may come in a longer size, but I don't know.

Looks to be very comfortable to wear. Every time I wear straps I can never get it to be 100% comfortable. It's usually always either too loose or too tight.

Yeah, often a strap (or bracelet) can be awkward due to the holes being "in between." I won't ever add a hole to a strap though. Usually I find that tighter is better, or I'll just have another taco.

lol @ another taco.

I never would add a hole to a strap either. I'd just prefer wear it a little loose than anything. Usually throughout my work day my wrists tends to swell a bit due to sweat / heat anyway so the added expansion is welcome on my wrist.
