Default Made a temporary switch

from my iPhone 6 Plus to an Android Moto X Did this to keep me occupied while I wait for the new Windows 10 flagship phones to come out in the fall.

So my iPhone 6 Plus will be going up on eBay this weekend

Never thought I would go back to Android after being all Apple for so long!

I would ask "Why?" but I doubt I'd understand anyway.

Why you ask? The reason is why not? lol

I'm a gadget junky and was in need of a new fix. Apple is getting a bit long in the tooth.

Just a few hours ago I made the jump from iPhone 4S to Samsung Galaxy S6 (verizon). I'm still trying to get my contacts to transfer but I think I'll like it eventually.

Apple has a lot of catching up to do with Android. Is it perfect, no. But definitely further along.

Let me know what you think of it once you had some time to adjust to it.

That seems to be the consensus, Apple is more user friendly, and Android does more stuff, if you can just figure it all out.

Android has always been a bit ahead of Apple. On the flip side, Apple is easier and more user friendly like you mentioned. But I feel that the gap is so tight these days that one can't go wrong with either.

Well for roughly the same price the entry level Galaxy S6 has 32gb vs only 16gb for the iPhone 6.
That helped make the decision easier.

The Galaxy S6 has a very nice feel in-hand, so sleek and light. Are you running and gunning with it naked, or do you have a case on it?

I've never been comfortable naked. Blame my Catholic guilt. The Verizon store gave me 25% off an Otterbox Defender so I grabbed it. It's WAY better than the one I have on my 4s. Much thinner and less grippy going in and out of my pocket.

Hey Bill, how do you find the reception and call quality on your Galaxy S6? The Motorola Moto X that I have been running and gunning with doesn't get the best of service I have noticed. Quite frequently I am greeting with a voicemail alerts for calls that never reached my phone because it didn't even ring or log a missed call.

Will be flipping this puppy shortly for a S6 or possibly a iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 Plus is just too big, the novelty of having a phablet has worn off for me. It is against the popular trend I find myself going, wanting a smaller phone these days.

My biggest complaint is that it seems like call volume is down. OK I'm going deaf but I was going deaf before too and could turn the volume up higher.

Could it possibly have to do with the placement of the speaker port on your ear? I know I had a similar problem with a different phone some time back.
