Default My Panerai saga...

I started out with a 241 @ 40mm. It wouldn't be so small if Panerai didn't make larger ones. What does that mean? I don't know.

I ordered the SS brushed bracelet for it since I didn't want to spend $ on straps, but I did anyway.

Then I found out about the 392 @ 42mm but it would take the same lug width straps as the 241, and even the bracelet although the end links don't quite mate perfectly with the case.

By this time I needed a box for buckles etc.

Then the AD called me with a really good deal on a used 176 @ 44mm, with a larger lug width, so here we go.

But then the 423 came available and I figured well, it's too big @ 47mm and yet another lug width. I antagonized over it for about a week and the AD shot me a really good deal.

That's the story. Problem is all those good deals add up. Oh well, the medical examiner will never get the smile off my alleged face. Oh yeah, and sorry, no I don't have any monogrammed bespoke shirts with French cuffs to wear with the watches.

Nah, I'd rather be the only woman on a Greek freighter!

Quite the conundrum you got going on with the Panerai's, but it sure looks like a fun one I must ad. My favorite is the last one with the black alligator strap. You gotta have a bespoke shirt or two that you can feature in a wrist shot

This whole forum is bespoke! You'll fit right in regardless of the shirt.

Thx. The last strap is a $99 gator from Panatime which came with white stitching. I used a marker and made it orange, and it goes well with the hands. It's not terribly thick which I also like.

I got these 3 from Micah, and they are of the fairly thick persuasion. The V-Dark on the right has his orange stitching which is quite bold. Had I to do it over I would get Goldenrod, as on the Mauser on the left. Still, it's not a BAD look, but not as good a match to the hands as the Goldenrod.
