Default What's new @ Brietling?

Nothing much from what I can see. Haven't really been seeing Brietling pieces out in the wild these days.

Are they loosing their popularity?

Was never a fan of their lineup, although I have to admit the Navtimer caught my eye from time to time. But too many people were flaunting them here around NYC and the Jersey Shore so they were not for me. Exclusivity is preferred.

Two local AD's have dropped the line. Ben Bridge and one Mom and Pop B&M are listed as AD's in this area. I don't think there's a big market here. I've had a few but they seemed to have migrated out of the collection.

Doesn't surprise me that they are slipping out of display cases and even personal collections.

There's just no "wow" factor there from what I can see. No new innovation either.

They tried to get into in house movements. Not sure how successful they were. I DID have one that I regret selling. I still have this SuperQuartz titanium M1 (I think). It's about 10 years old.

I was never a big Brietling fan. Although I do like the look of the 42mm SuperOcean. Always prefered Omega over them.

I've seen a few that I liked but not many.
