Z first world problem is overcome

Finally picked up a new battery for my safe so I could open it and swap a watch. Sometimes first world problems like that take way too long to overcome because are so easily forgotten.

Put the DSSD in hibernation for the time being while I give the El Primero Stratos some time on the wrist.

I find myself switching watches every other week or so. Haven't worn my DSSD since I finished my cross-country trip about 2 months ago. Been wearing digital watches since then. I'll take out my Omega Seamaster on occasion, but the Deepsea will be sleeping for a little while.

That is pretty frequent. Have to say I am switching watches like every 6 months or so.

Hahaha yes indeed !

It sucks since at work I don't really wear any of my $$ watches, it's mostly digital. As for sunglasses, I usually don't wear any and if I do it's a cheap pair I have in my glovebox since I don't want to ruin any of the good pairs on the job ( since we're always moving around in the trucks / in and out of customer facility's ).

The watch pen and sunglasses combo is good for the weekends though

Cycling the watches and pen du jour is tough for sure. Shades not so much since I only have one pair of shades at present.

Moved to thinner watches for long sleeve season. Bimetal Yachtmaster and Maurice Lacroix mostly. Been hankering for the Panerai, but it's not at home, need to stop by the bank.

Pens? Easy. Have gone to a carbon fiber pen, goes with everything. And sunglasses? Without a convertible, really don't use them. I think they're probably tucked away in the non-salt car but not really sure, actually.

My blue eyes require sunglasses pretty much every time I'm outside. I have several pairs of Serengheti and Persol and Ray Ban.
Recently I was able to get a new pair of wraps for use on my bike from my eye doctor. I had the stock lenses replaced with transition lenses for night riding.
