Default Mayfly hatch...

The annual mayfly hatch on the MS river is underway. Fill up the washer fluid, as though that will help. Last year they had to call out the snowplows to clear dead flies from some roadways. And they are slippery too.

They called out the SNOW PLOWS to clear out BUGS ?!?!?! Damn !!! And I thought the mosquitoes here in CT were bad this year . . . . . .

yeah, and they get so slick it's like ice.

I was in the UP and a local was telling me that the bats got some sort of illness this winter and most were wiped out. I only saw 1 bat the 3 nights I was there. There were flies that usually get eaten up and are gone in 2-3 days. They have been there this year all summer 8 weeks now.
